There is a lot of "deadbeat dad" scanner traffic that we hear. We will be compiling a list of the local deadbeat dads in your area.

  1. I cold name a couple, just off the top of my head.

  2. Despite the fact that calling someone a "deadbeat dad" is every bit as offensive and despicable as calling them a "nigger", are you going to also target "deadbeat moms" and moms who refuse to let good dads be with their kids? Or are you just going to crap down the same, tired-ol worn out BS lines about how men are bad and women are innocent?

  3. If a parent refuses to let the other parent see their child, then there are actions you can take. You can go to court.

As far as deadbeat parenting, how is that as offensive as a racial slur? You can't choose your color, you can choose to pay your child support (man or woman).

  4. Nicely put Nikki. If you haven't gone to court, you have all the rights in the world. If a court ordered document tells you nope, you can't see your kids, then theres probably a GOOD reason why Mom won't let you do it either.
Talesman- its about ALL deadbeat PARENTS- we've obviously touched on a sore subject for you, but Im just kinda thinking you're slightly uneducated and wanted to drop the N-bomb on a comment thread.

  5. very good points! You earn the term "deadbeat dad", but dropping the N-bomb in comparison, c'mon... And of course, we will look at deadbeat mom's as well. Geez.
So is it offensive to call someone who steals somethine a "thief" or a "crook"?
Just calling it like I see it.

  6. Or how about someone who kills someone a "murderer", or a "killer"? Can we call prostitues "hookers", or is that offensive as well? I am curious about this...

  7. I'd be careful with this. Libel and whatnot.

  8. Another good point cimmy. Is it libel if it's public record?
